Tricks of the Trade Workshop Washington Career Services’ (WCS) workshop Tricks of the Trade is designed to increase employer presence on your campus. Our goal to help you develop new employer relationships, as well foster a stronger tie with the employers that currently visit your campus. WCS will discuss the meaning behind “employer relations”. Questions such as: who’s responsibility is it to develop employer relationships will be asked and discussed. In addition, WCS will bring a different perspective on the traditional on-campus recruiting issues; what are employers in search of, what are students looking for, and what is the role of the campus are typical questions. Overall, Tricks of the Trade will encourage you to think about your current employer relations model and how it can be improved to meet your needs, the needs of your students, and the needs of the employers. |
